Inspired by a very old reference photo from a fishing trip to Eagle Lake California in 1989. The challenge was choosing the colors because the reference photo was so faded, even after applying photo-editing effects. So I got creative and went beyond realism. I couldn't even remember where this was so I could not look up a decent photo of the area. All I remember is driving to or from Susanville the day I snapped the photo. If I ever figure out where this was, that will be the next project.
